2. Data on your device
Your game progress (progress, coins, records, unlocked content and settings) is stored only on your device. Depending on your settings, it is included in your device backup (Apple’s iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer). We do not receive this data. You can delete it at any time in the game under Settings → “Delete progress” or by deleting the app.
3. Game Center (Apple)
Using Game Center is optional. If you are signed in to Game Center in your device settings, the app sends your best distances (record and daily record) to Game Center so that the worldwide leaderboards work. To display them, the app loads the Top 100 of a leaderboard (Game Center names and scores) from Apple. Your Game Center name and your scores are visible to other players there.
Game Center is a service of Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland. Apple processes this data as an independent controller under the Apple Privacy Policy (see also Game Center & Privacy). We do not store this data. The legal basis for the transfer is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the leaderboards you choose to use). You can sign out at any time in your device settings.
4. App Store and statistics from Apple
The app is offered through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes data as an independent controller when you download or update the app. If you have agreed in your device settings to share analytics with app developers (Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymous usage figures and crash reports. They do not reveal who you are.
5. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the message once it is no longer needed, unless we are legally required to keep it.
6. This website
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub B.V., Prins Bernhardplein 200, 1097 JB Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit it, GitHub processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, and stores it for security purposes (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure and stable website). Transfers to the USA are based on the adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which GitHub participates. We use no cookies and no analytics. More: GitHub Privacy Statement.
7. Children
The game is meant for all ages and does not collect any data from children either.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example in the country where you live. As the app does not collect personal data, these rights usually only concern emails you have sent us. Contact: support@mooslicht-studios.com.
9. Changes
If the app changes (for example with new features), we will update this policy. The current version is available in the app under Settings → Privacy policy and on this page.
